When I enrolled in an on-line Medical Neuroscience course taught by one of this book's authors, I used this most excellent textbook to great avail. The illustrations are superb and further explain the text in a most readable complementary way.

I have since looked at other neuroscience texts, but have found none to compare to this one/5(55). This is a comprehensive source that examines the nervous system, neurodegeneration, techniques in studying neuroscience and emerging topics in the field.
